2009/2010 AWANA Program

The 2009/2010 AWANA Program began the evening of Wednesday September 9 from 7:00-8:30pm. AWANA will be taking a Christmas break from November 25-December 30. AWANA will resume on Wednesday January 6, 2010. AWANA will also be taking an Easter break on March 31, 2010. Summer vacation will begin after the last Wednesday evening program on May 24, 2010. All children are welcome. Call the church office if you have any questions at 891-2221.

Programs available: 1.Puggles: older 2-younger 3 (A parent is required to stay at the church for this age) 2.Cubbies: Pre-school (A parents is required to stay at the church for this age) 3.Sparks: K-2 4.T & T: 3-6 5.Trek: Middle school 6.Journey: High School

New Congregation - Bethel Dayton

Bethel Baptist Temple voted to start a new church in Dayton with Jeffrey Cornett as pastor on Wednesday March 18th, 2009. Years ago, Jeffrey started this group as a very small prayer meeting which began to grow into a Thursday evening worship service. After several relocations, they finally outgrew their last place of worship at Robyn Tolle’s farm with close to 100 attending. Pastor Cornett and his new congregation now share Eversole Church of the Brethern in the Dayton area on Thursday evening. The end of October, Pastor Cornett also found a place for his congregation to meet on Sundays. The Brookside Community Center, 428 Wolfcreek St., Brookville Ohio 45309 located in the lower floor of The Heritage Center is a perfect place for worship and Pastor Cornett was offered a beautiful 100 year old carved wood podium to use. Pray that Bethel Dayton referred to as “The Happy Church” by her members and Pastor continues to be blessed!
