Dear Pastor,
Thanks for sharing that! It's so easy to just get caught up in what one is doing. The "good deeds" and forget the real reason for it all. Christ. It's really easy to think I'm not really doing much of anything over here. All I'm doing is teaching English. I don't get to witness, I can't just share about God with my teachers or students. It’s so easy to get discouraged by that. This past week has been amazing for me. I'm not exactly sure what happened or when it happened, but something changed. And I realized that yes I'm just teaching English. But the people here know I'm a Christian. They don't even have to ask they can see it. They know when I am being a faithful and humble servant of the Lord's and when I'm not. They watch me and even if I never get to share with my words about Christ I can certainly share with my actions Christ. A seed has been planted. And maybe that's all God wanted me to do. Maybe He has someone else who is going to come along and water the seed and see the results. But my being a faithful and humble servant doing the small seemingly not so important things is just as important as being able to verbally share the Gospel and see people come to Christ. Thank you for what an example and encouragement you are to me. To keep going even when it gets tough. =)

And may we continue to learn from your example, to be a blessing as a humble and faithful servant of our Lord. Thank you for your leadership, teaching, and for showing us how to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen
